why would you get Boss audio? ever? even if it was given to you. that's crazy. why get 2 X's then just put some cheap auto parts store amps on them? it doesn't make sense.
Anyway
you need a new alt. NOT A CAP. a cap is only a band aid.
next you need some mids and highs. don't be one of these chumps that just has bass. we laugh at people like that.
Infinity Perfects. They're clear, AND they can take a beating. get like 2 or 3 sets at least. Then you'll need amps for those. NOT BOSS.
Pioneer has good head units. No, they don't come with a lifetime warranty, but I've never had one break. Pioneer has a one year and Premier has a 2 year. Awesome wiring is a must. Make sure you get shielded twisted or double twisted RCA's.

there is a few things you need for that system.. and none are "fun" to buy.

1 - a high output alternator
2 - a big three upgrade
3 - a deep cycle battery

if you choose not to do this, a couple things will happen, first you system will fall short of what it can do.... waayyy short.. like puting weak batteries in a flashlight it works but not that bright. second it is going to put a hughe strain on your alternator, eventually causing it to fail prematurely, could happen in just a few months. third thing that can happen, you'll be driveing around bumpin and pumpin and when you turn off the car and come back, dead battery, why? becasue your alternator had no spare juice to recharge it with..it was busy making your tunes pound...and a cap will not help, becuase once it discharges there will not be enough juice to go around to charge it back up eigther.

just the facts bro, just the facts...

dude, u need to buy the audiobahn 10,000 watt rack mount amplifier... that thing would pound those x's wayyy harder. dual 0/1 gauge power & ground, not to mention 10000watts in one amp, instead of two. as for the cd player, if you know alot about audio, go with an eclipse head unit, as there is lots of different options to taylor the sound to your liking. and also 8 volt pre-outs, the best of any head unit ive seen. lol are u running all of this shit without a cap or alternator???? for a cap get on ebay and look for an audiobahn cap, they have a 12 farad one for about 250$ that would more than meet your needs. get a nice alternator. buy a nice stinger battery, stinger expert series power wire and rca's, and you should be good.
