Is there a stereo component system that has a storage for mp3 and other audio files?
I want a stereo component system or a home theater system that combines the convenience of the ancient jukebox and the modern Winamp to play all formats so that I don’t have to change CDs or DVDs anymore, all I need is a remote commander to search the system’s music library and programme/schedule what I want to play. I don’t want a laptop plugged into my audio system. I am talking about an audio system with a hard drive and an OS. That is, a home theater system with iPod intelligence.

The company went out of business so you can pick them up dirt cheap now. I’ve got one and it works flawlessly. I highly recommend it. It does everything you are asking for.

Get a new Denon receiver with the iPod dock station. The dock station allows you to control the iPod through the Denon remote, you also get all the stuff you see on your iPod’s screen to come up on your TV.
