ipad in Car, Pt. 1, First Ever, soundman Car Audio

Planned install will include a mcintosh 6 channel amplifier MCC406M, and a special ipod dock which allows the digital signal to be pulled from the ipad and distributed to the bitone via optical output. if you make a universal adapter kit for different cars, I guess buying the 3G version would make sense. (cheaper than the $2000 OEM GPS system) and this one comes with traffic update from Google maps. And you get to watch movies, etc. But I wonder if the cops would give you a ticket for having a front seat entertainment system? When you going to make an adapter for the rear seat headrest?

This is cool. You should try to add 3 cameras. one for the front and back view of the car (or at least the back) and then a driver’s camera for a car/speaker/chat phone. Skype in the car. lol

Pretty cool, I just don’t like the idea of the audio controls on the left of the steering wheel. This obviously would be determined by the vehicles make/model.
