I need a help which amplifier, speakers, Subwoofer and CD player should I chose to get the nice sound, and do I need to put crossoverr or I can control the sound from the CD player.

I don’t want to spend too much and am not looking into getting anything to extravagant. What I want is to improve the sound quality at the level it’s already at as well as give me the ability to crank up the sound without fear of braking anything. I was thinking of a couple of tweeters, woofers and probably a 10′ sub, but I’m not sure on anything from brand to size and would atleast like to have an idea of what I’m looking for before getting jipped at any audio stores.

I would like to hook up two 12inch Rockford Fosgate P3D412’s, with a amp to my car, and i have a couple questions.

1) Do i need a aftermarket head unit? From what i heard installing a new head unit in a bose system is a pain.

2) I am new to the whole car audio thing, and any general advice specific to me would be great.
