Im 16 and drive a z71 tahoe. Im happy with the speakers in the car, however i want to put in a car audio system. I just want a simple package to put in, nothing overboard and nothing over 0. I dont know what i need. My friend says he wants two "tens" in his car but i dont know what that means. I dont know if i need subwoofers, an amp, or what. So if you have any ideas help me out. Thanks.
I just recently installed a system that is pushing 800W RMS to 2 12" subs. I have a 2 farad capacitor installed in between the battery and amp but I noticed that my headlights are still dimming. I feel that a 2 farad cap is more than enough. Someone told me I might need a new alternator but I’m pretty new to the car audio scene so I don’t know exactly what’s wrong. Any suggestions?
Im looking to get a touch screen for my car audio. iv narrowed it down to the Alpine iXA-w407, Alpine IVA-w505, and Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD. I dont really need a DVD player but i like the full sized touch screen interface. any recomendations?
I’m looking to purchase some nice audio equipment for my 2005 Dodge Neon (I know, its a pretty epic car, be jealous). Does anyone know of any solid brands that sell decent audio systems? And websites? I’m mainly looking to bump up my bass and be able to listen to my music louder without getting an annoying ringing and what not. I already have a Pioneer Head thing (I dont know car terms, but its the thing where CD’s and stuff go.)
